PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

Staex and EVA Collaborate to Build the World's First Web3-Operated Drone Delivery Corridor
Published: 31.05.2023

We are excited to announce a groundbreaking partnership between Staex GmbH and Electric Visionary Aircrafts (EVA) to embark on a pioneering project called NEXA. The collaboration aims to establish the first-ever Web3-operated drone delivery corridor in the world. This ambitious initiative will revolutionize the way drones are deployed and operated, opening up new possibilities for efficient and secure autonomous deliveries.

Staex and EVA will spearhead the development of this revolutionary drone infrastructure. The project officially commenced in May 2023 in Berlin, Germany, and will feature cutting-edge facilities including a transfer station M3 based at Ullsteinhaus (The Drivery) and two Vertipads M1 located within the premises of the commercial center Tempelhofer Hafen.

The project will showcase the advanced capabilities of drones through demonstration flights and autonomous deliveries between the aforementioned stations. Leveraging the Mobile 5G Network, these stations will enable various use cases for drones, particularly emphasizing low-latency efficiency, which is critical for autonomous mobile machines.

Staex, renowned for its innovative software technology solutions, will provide secure and reliable communication for all ground stations through its flagship private P2P mesh network software layer. With the implementation of patented military-grade end-to-end encryption, certificate-based trust, and reliable communication over unreliable underlying networks, Staex ensures the utmost security for ground station operations. Additionally, Staex's device identity management and cutting-edge web3 features will enhance the efficiency and secure IT infrastructure management of the project.

The launch date is scheduled for September 2023 in Berlin, Germany. Stay tuned for further updates as we approach this significant milestone.
