Realizing secure and reliable drone corridors
Staex will provide secure and reliable communication for physical and digital assets, for example, land, tower, and drone stations via its flagship private peer-to-peer mesh network software layer. Allowing the drones operating with patented technology equipped with military-grade end-to-end encryption, certificate-based trust, reliable communication over unreliable underlying networks, IoT device identity management and more. The Staex network layer was designed with IoT devices in mind and provides light overhead communication while consuming minimal system resources. Using this private network Staex will enable efficient and secure IT infrastructure management and remote access for ground stations.

By combining Vantage Towers' extensive experience in delivering next-generation connectivity across Europe, Staex's secure IoT infrastructure, and drone station manufacturer's expertise in drone stations infrastructure, the project represents a fantastic future-oriented initiative today.

Lisk, a blockchain application platform providing developers with a set of tools making the process of creating blockchain applications easy, will enable secure and efficient machine-to-machine transactions. By leveraging Web3 technology such as payments on blockchains, anyone could benefit from placing a drone port on their premises and receive compensation for offering landing, parking, and energy usage.
The collaboration with Germandrones, a prominent Berlin-based drone enterprise renowned for its expertise in surveillance, security, inspection, and mapping, will infuse the project with

- effortless incorporation of Staex technology, ensuring smooth compatibility and enhanced functionality,
- proficient management of take-offs, landings, and deliveries along the designated Web3 drone corridor route, ensuring seamless operations.
Apart from that, paymenttools, the subsidiary of REWE Group, will ensure secure and smooth payment transactions between the human and the machine allowing payments between drones and user-owned devices such as phones or tablets.
