Sales System Engineer
Location: Staex is based in Berlin, Germany. We will consider candidates with European or East Coast locations.

A Sales Systems Engineer (SE) is a hybrid role that blends technical expertise with sales acumen. This professional supports the sales team by providing deep technical knowledge and ensuring that proposed solutions meet customer needs. Additionally, the SE plays a key role in deploying and managing projects, ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Sales Support:
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Develop and present tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
- Project Deployment:
- Lead the deployment of projects from planning through execution.
- Configure, install, and integrate systems as per customer specifications.
- Provide on-site or remote support during implementation.
- Customer Engagement:
- Serve as the technical point of contact for customers during the sales process and project deployment.
- Address technical questions and resolve issues quickly.
- Build strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term satisfaction.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work closely with internal teams (product management, business development/sales, marketing) to provide customer feedback.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design specs and user guides.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong technical background in the IoT and/or Web3 industry.
- Proficiency in system design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
Typical Background:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in a technical sales or pre-sales engineering role.
- Proven experience in deploying technical projects.
This position reports to the Chief Strategy Officer with a dotted line to the Head of Growth.
